Proud to Be a Veteran-Friendly Accredited Practice

We are proud to be part of the Veteran Friendly GP Accreditation Programme, recognising our commitment to providing the best possible care and support to those who have served in the UK Armed Forces.

Across England, the programme has achieved impressive results:

• 99.6% of Primary Care Networks have at least one accredited practice.
• Over 4,400 GP practices are now accredited — covering more than 77% of the practice population.
• 41 out of 42 ICBs have more than 40% of their practices accredited.

With Armistice Day on Tuesday 11 November 2025, we are taking this opportunity to raise awareness of veteran health and wellbeing.
Veterans are more likely to experience both physical and mental health conditions, and identifying them within primary care allows us to provide tailored support and access to specialist services.
