All GP practices are required to utilise the GP2GP facility for the transfer of patient Electronic Health Record (EHR) between practices, when a patient registers or de-registers. The facility allows for the records to be transferred faster and more secure than the current paper-based method. Sherrington Park Medical Centre are using this service to transfer records to other practices.
