Patient Participation Group

Sherrington Park Medical Practice has a Patient Participation Group. We are encouraging patients to give their views about the practice. We would like to be able to find out the opinions of as many patients as possible.

The Patient Participation Group was relaunched in 2017 as the ‘SParkies’ group. The minutes of the first four meetings are below.

The group has been discussing its role and how it can support the practice, and we will be revisiting the terms of reference to ensure they reflect the aims of the relaunched group. Feedback from members so far has included:

  • “I enjoyed our first meeting of the SParkies group, it felt good to be able to support the practice in a practical way, make new friends and share ideas to keep the practice relevant to us all. Come and join us at the next meeting.”
  • “I feel privileged to have been a patient at Sherrington Park for the last five years or so. Last week I joined the SParkies, where we had an interesting hour’s discussion on topics relating to health issues. Any patients having an hour free once a month would be very welcome. Your views are important.”

The next SParkies meeting will be held at the practice on Thursday 28 March, 4.00-5.30pm.

Please email us at [email protected] if you are interested in joining the group or fill out a form on reception.
